Early Bird Discounts

When we launched our upgraded The Mountain Company website in April 2020 we introduced Early Bird discounts for all of our International led departures.

An early bird discount applies to the first people paying their deposits to make up our minimum group size usually of five or six people. This discount is to encourage people to book early and to help us get more of our international led departures guaranteed and off the ground. Once we confirm the availability of a departure as guaranteed to run then the discount is no longer available and the price will revert to our standard list price.

The amount for the Early Bird discount is shown in the Dates & Prices tab in each trip page. The discount is in green font and the standard price is indicated with a strike through line. Typically the Early Bird discount is in the region of £80/ US$100 per person  to £240/ US$300 (or equivalent in other currencies) depending on the trek selected.

The Early Bird discounts are allocated by date of receipt of the deposits into our bank account and not by any other method such as email confirmation of intention to book the trip.

There are other advantages for you of booking your holiday early as international airfares are often cheaper the earlier you confirm these with the airlines. Also you have more time to train and get fit for the trek!
