Trekking in Karakoram range of Pakistan
We offer small group and tailor made trekking holidays to the Pakistan Karakoram. This mountain range is in Northern Pakistan on the border between China and India. It has the largest non polar glaciers and greatest concentration of big peaks. There are four mountains over 8,000m including K2 the world’s second highest.
We are specialists in camping treks where we explore remote regions of northern Pakistan. Our most popular hiking holidays are K2 Base Camp & Concordia and K2 Base Camp & Gondogoro La. The best time for trekking in Pakistan is over the Summer months of July to August. The Mountain Company has been organising adventure holidays in Pakistan since 2005. Our previous groups have found the people of Pakistan to be very hospitable and friendly.

Camping
All of our treks in Pakistan are Camping style. This is a fully supported trek where our cooks will cater for all of your meals. We provide group equipment including personal tents, mess tents, kitchen tent and toilet tent.

K2 Base Camp & Gondogoro La
This is a challenging trek requiring technical mountaineering skills, we follow Baltoro glacier to Concordia and K2 Base Camp then cross the Gondogoro La pass at 5,560m
Snow Lake & Hispar La
This trek follows a remote and rarely trekked glacier to cross Hispar La (5,151m) into Hunza valley.
Nanga Parbat Circuit
In June 2022, we did a reconnaissance trek of Nanga Parbat Circuit led by Ade Summers. Our itinerary is based on our first hand experience of organising this trek in Pakistan. This is a challenging trail that is rarely trekked by other groups, unlike the busier K2 Base Camp trek.
